I pay homage to the male botanists Scherard (I couldn’t find his records), Germain (I couldn’t find his records), Henrik Franz Alexander von Eggers, Ramos (I couldn’t find his records), Alexander von Humboldt, Stephen Elliott, and Metz (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1805.
