I pay homage to the male botanists Henry John Elwes, Saul (I couldn’t find his records), Letourneux (I couldn’t find his records), Strangways (I couldn’t find his records), Vinyals (I couldn’t find his records), Vandas (I couldn’t find his records), Conill (I couldn’t find his records), Alexander Alfonsovich Grossheim, and Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin, or Joseph Franz von Jacquin. They first catalogued me in 1841.
