#532 They called me Peltophorum pterocarpum, also known as Caesalpinia glenieii, Poinciana roxburghii, Caesalpinia roxburghii, Peltophorum roxburghii, and Caesalpinia macklottii. I pay homage to the male botanists Glenie (I couldn’t find his records), William Roxburgh, and Macklott (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1927.

Native to Bismarck Archipelago, Borneo, Cambodia, Jawa, Malaya, New Guinea, Northern Territory, Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Thailand, and Vietnam.
