#192 They called me Brachypodium sylvaticum, also known as Brachypodium wattii, Brachypodium sylvaticum subsp. spryginii, Brachypodium fontanesii, and Brachypodium spryginii. I pay homage to the male botanists Sprygin (I couldn’t find his records), Fontanes (I couldn’t find his records), and George Watt, or David Allan Poe Watt. They first catalogued me in 1812.
