I pay homage to the male botanists Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg, Skottsberg (I couldn’t find his records), Sherff (I couldn’t find his records), William (Wilhelm) Hillebrand, or William Francis Hillebrand, and Charles Noyes Forbes, Edward Forbes, or Henry Ogg Forbes. They first catalogued me in 1760.
