I pay homage to the male botanists Thomas Horsfield, Brass (I couldn’t find his records), Esquirol (I couldn’t find his records), Forsten (I couldn’t find his records), and Alexander William Evans, Arthur Humble Evans, or William Edgar Evans. They first catalogued me in 1797.
