#662 They called me Dioclea hexandra, also known as Dioclea fergusonii, and Mucuna wertheimii. I pay homage to the male botanists Allan Ross Ferguson, and Wertheim (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1980.

Native to Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi.

#640 They called me Peperomia leptostachya, also known as Peperomia esquirolii, Peperomia bequaertii, and Peperomia moerenhoutii. I pay homage to the male botanists Esquirol (I couldn’t find his records), Joseph Charles Bequaert, and Moerenhout (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1832.

I pay homage to the male botanists Bouvet (I couldn’t find his records), Antonio José Cavanilles, and Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin, or Joseph Franz von Jacquin. They first catalogued me in 1826.
