#871 They called me Cyperus dubius, also known as Cyperus merrillii, Mariscus merrillii, and Mariscus kraussii. I pay homage to the male botanists Elmer Drew Merrill, and Christian Ferdinand Friedrich von Krauss, or Johan Carl Krauss. They first catalogued me in 1773.
