I pay homage to the male botanists Corrad (I couldn’t find his records), Elias Magnus Fries, William Roxburgh, and Jan Svatopluk Presl, or Carl Borivoj Presl. They first catalogued me in 1805.

I pay homage to the male botanists Thonning (I couldn’t find his records), Forskal (I couldn’t find his records), Heymann (I couldn’t find his records), and Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg. They first catalogued me in 1753.
