#470 They called me Aristida adscensionis, also known as Aristida thonningii, Chaetaria forskalii, Arthratherum adscensionis subsp. heymannii, Aristida heymannii, and Aristida ehrenbergii. I pay homage to the male botanists Thonning (I couldn’t find his records), Forskal (I couldn’t find his records), Heymann (I couldn’t find his records), and Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg. They first catalogued me in 1753.
