#664 They called me Ipomoea aquatica, also known as Convolvulus adansonii, Convolvulus clappertonii, Ipomoea clappertonii, and Ipomoea glenieii. I pay homage to the male botanists Michel Adanson, Bain Hugh Clapperton, and Glenie (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1775.
