#876 They called me Stachys germanica, also known as Stachys nuttallii, Stachys riddellii, and Stachys fuchsii. I pay homage to the male botanists Thomas Nuttall, Riddell (I couldn’t find his records), and Leonhart Fuchs, or Hans Peter Fuchs. They first catalogued me in 1753.

I pay homage to the male botanists Alumin (I couldn’t find his records), and William Sheldon Stewart. They first catalogued me in 1864.
