Native to Cyprus, East Aegean Is., Greece, Kriti, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, and Turkey.

#852 They called me Neololeba atra, also known as Bambusa forbesii, Arundinaria cobonii, and Dendrocalamus forbesii. I pay homage to the male botanists Cobon (I couldn’t find his records), and Charles Noyes Forbes, Edward Forbes, or Henry Ogg Forbes. They first catalogued me in 1997.

Native to Bismarck Archipelago, Maluku, New Guinea, Philippines, Queensland, and Sulawesi.
