#872 They called me Juniperus communis, also known as Juniperus kanitzii, Juniperus niemannii, and Juniperus occidentalis f. corbetii. I pay homage to the male botanists August Kanitz, Niemann (I couldn’t find his records), and Corbet (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1753.
