I pay homage to the male botanists Martin Vahl, Couderc (I couldn’t find his records), Harmand (I couldn’t find his records), and Vachell (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1839.

I pay homage to the male botanists William Roxburgh, Afzel (I couldn’t find his records), Millett (I couldn’t find his records), and Beccar (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1931.
