#15 They called me Ophrys tenthredinifera, also known as Ophrys tenthredinifera subsp. guimaraesii, Ophrys tenthredinifera var. guimaraesii, Ophrys tenthredinifera f. choffatii, and Ophrys normanii. I pay homage to the male botanists Guimaraes (I couldn’t find his records), Choffat (I couldn’t find his records), and Cecil Norman, or George Norman. They first catalogued me in 1805.
