I pay homage to the male botanists Thomasset (I couldn’t find his records), René Paul Raymond Capuron, and Gordon Herriott (Heriot) Cunningham, or Allan Cunningham. They first catalogued me in 1934.

I pay homage to the male botanists Esquirol (I couldn’t find his records), Joseph Charles Bequaert, and Moerenhout (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1832.
