#786 They called me Polygonum aviculare, also known as Polygonum meyenii, and Polygonum franktonii. I pay homage to the male botanists Frankton (I couldn’t find his records), and Franz Meyen, or Franz Julius Ferdinand Meyen. They first catalogued me in 1753.
