#980 They called me Oenothera biennis, also known as Oenothera chicaginensis var. bartlettii, Oenothera tacikii, Oenothera stucchii, Oenothera rostanskii, Oenothera victorinii, Oenothera reynoldsii, and Oenothera pellegrinii. I pay homage to the male botanists Harley Harris Bartlett, Tacik (I couldn’t find his records), Stucch (I couldn’t find his records), Rostansk (I couldn’t find his records), Victorin (I couldn’t find his records), Reynolds (I couldn’t find his records), and Pellegrin (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1753.
