I pay homage to the male botanists Diepenhorst (I couldn’t find his records), Hullett (I couldn’t find his records), and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1958.

Native to Borneo, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Myanmar, Sumatera, and Vietnam.
