#973 They called me Ischaemum rugosum, also known as Meoschium griffithii, and Meoschium wightii. I pay homage to the male botanists William Griffith, and Robert Wight, or William Franklin Wight. They first catalogued me in 1791.

Native to Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam.
