#882 They called me Quercus robur, also known as Quercus dalechampii f. piersii, Quercus fennessii, Quercus sieboldii, Quercus annenkowii, Quercus welandii, and Quercus tauzinii. I pay homage to the male botanists Dalechamp (I couldn’t find his records), Piers (I couldn’t find his records), Fenness (I couldn’t find his records), Annenkow (I couldn’t find his records), Weland (I couldn’t find his records), Tauzin (I couldn’t find his records), and Philipp Franz von Siebold, or Karl (Carl) Theodor Ernst von Siebold. They first catalogued me in 1753.
