Native to Botswana, Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho, Namibia, and Northern Provinces.

#32 They called me Gladiolus crassifolius, also known as Gladiolus junodii, Gladiolus thomsonii, Gladiolus conrathii, and Gladiolus dieterlenii. I pay homage to the male botanists Junod (I couldn’t find his records), Conrath (I couldn’t find his records), Dieterlen (I couldn’t find his records), and George Thomson, or Charles Wyville Thomson. They first catalogued me in 1876.

Native to Angola, Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Northern Provinces, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.

#19 They called me Tritonia gladiolaris, also known as Tritonia krausii. I pay homage to the male botanist Gregor Konrad Michael Kraus. They first catalogued me in 2006.

Native to Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho, and Northern Provinces.
