I pay homage to the male botanists Danin (I couldn’t find his records), Águedo Marrero Rodriguez, Trabut (I couldn’t find his records), Cadevall (I couldn’t find his records), and Jahandiez (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1753.
