#433 They called me Phragmites karka, also known as Trichoon roxburghii, Phragmites roxburghii, and Arundo roxburghii. I pay homage to the male botanist William Roxburgh. They first catalogued me in 1841.

#428 They called me Podocarpus macrophyllus, also known as Margbensonia sweetii, Podocarpus sweetii, Podocarpus macrophyllus subsp. forrestii, Margbensonia forrestii, and Podocarpus forrestii. I pay homage to the male botanists Herman Royden Sweet, and Forrest (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1818.

Native to China South-Central, China Southeast, Japan, Myanmar, and Taiwan.

#421 They called me Aglaia spectabilis, also known as Amoora wallichii, and Aphanamixis wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanist George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1987.
