#820 They called me Agelaea rubiginosa, also known as Agelaea schweinfurthii, Agelaea laurentii, and Agelaea vanderystii. I pay homage to the male botanists Georg August Schweinfurth, Laurent (I couldn’t find his records), and Vanderyst (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1891.
Native to Angola, Cabinda, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Gulf of Guinea Is., and Zaïre.
