#157 They called me Terminalia catappa, also known as Myrobalanus commersonii, Terminalia copelandii, and Badamia commersonii. I pay homage to the male botanists Commerson (I couldn’t find his records), and Edwin Bingham Copeland, or Herbert Faulkner Copeland. They first catalogued me in 1767.
