#854 They called me Lasianthus attenuatus, also known as Lasianthus copelandii, Lasianthus thorelii, Lasianthus wallichii, and Mephitidia wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanists Thorel (I couldn’t find his records), Edwin Bingham Copeland, or Herbert Faulkner Copeland, and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1823.
