#788 They called me Aporosa octandra, also known as Aporosa clellandii, Lepidostachys roxburghii, and Aporosa roxburghii. I pay homage to the male botanists Clelland (I couldn’t find his records), and William Roxburgh. They first catalogued me in 1982.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, Hainan, India, Jawa, Laos, Malaya, Myanmar, Nepal, New Guinea, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Queensland, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam, and West Himalaya.

#777 They called me Passiflora aurantia, also known as Passiflora storckii, Disemma storckii, Passiflora banksii, and Passiflora aurantia var. banksii. I pay homage to the male botanists Storck (I couldn’t find his records), and Joseph Banks, or Harlan Parker Banks. They first catalogued me in 1786.

Native to Fiji, New Caledonia, New Guinea, New South Wales, Niue, Norfolk Is., Queensland, Samoa, Sulawesi, Tonga, and Vanuatu.
