#380 They called me Digitaria sanguinalis, also known as Digitaria sanguinalis var. stewartii, and Panicum kunthii. I pay homage to the male botanists William Sheldon Stewart, and Carl Sigismund Kunth. They first catalogued me in 1771.

I pay homage to the male botanists Bofill (I couldn’t find his records), Elisée Reverchon, Ripart (I couldn’t find his records), and Carl Ludwig Willdenow, or Carl Ludwig von Willdenow. They first catalogued me in 1792.
