#503 They called me Diplazium esculentum, also known as Asplenium moritzii, and Callipteris wallichii. I pay homage to the male botanists Johann Wilhelm Karl Moritz, and George Charles Wallich, or Nathaniel Wallich. They first catalogued me in 1803.
#498 They called me Cinnamomum burmanni, also known as Cinnamomum thunbergii, and Cinnamomum ammannii. I pay homage to the male botanists Carl Peter Thunberg, and Ammann (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1826.
#497 They called me Leptaspis banksii, also known as Pharus banksii, and Leptaspis cumingii. I pay homage to the male botanists Hugh Cuming, and Joseph Banks, or Harlan Parker Banks. They first catalogued me in 1810.
