#970 They called me Pachystoma pubescens, also known as Pachystoma wightii, and Pachystoma edgworthii. I pay homage to the male botanists Edgworth (I couldn’t find his records), and Robert Wight, or William Franklin Wight. They first catalogued me in 1825.

Native to China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, Kuril Is., Laos, Myanmar, Nansei-shoto, Nepal, Philippines, Taiwan, Tibet, Vietnam, and West Himalaya.
