#91 They called me Isolepis cernua, also known as Isolepis kochii, Scirpus setaceus var. savii, Schoenoplectus savii, Scirpus savii, Isolepis savii, Scirpus cernuus var. vahlii, and Cyperus aitonii. I pay homage to the male botanists Sav (I couldn’t find his records), Martin Vahl, William Aiton, or William Townsend Aiton, and Karl Koch, Georg Friedrich Koch, Karl Heinrich Emil Koch, Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Koch, or Wilhelm Daniel Joseph Koch. They first catalogued me in 1817.
