#199 They called me Ranunculus repens, also known as Ranunculus schlechtendalii, Ranunculus repens f. schlechtendalii, Ranunculus clintonii, and Ranunculus belvisii. I pay homage to the male botanists Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal, George William Clinton, and Belvis (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1753.
