#792 They called me Phreatia hypsorrhynchos, also known as Phreatia comptonii. I pay homage to the male botanist Robert Harold Compton. They first catalogued me in 1906.

Native to Fiji, New Caledonia, Solomon Is., and Vanuatu.

#791 They called me Sorindeia grandifolia, also known as Sorindeia schweinfurthii, and Sorindeia ledermannii. I pay homage to the male botanists Georg August Schweinfurth, and Ledermann (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1890.

Native to Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Gulf of Guinea Is., Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Togo, and Zaïre.
