#978 They called me Cephalanthera longifolia, also known as Cephalanthera thomsonii. I pay homage to the male botanist George Thomson, or Charles Wyville Thomson. They first catalogued me in 1888.

Native to Borneo, Jawa, Maluku, New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Is., and Sulawesi.

#977 They called me Rhodalsine geniculata, also known as Minuartia webbii, and Alsine bartolottii. I pay homage to the male botanists Bartolott (I couldn’t find his records), and Colin James Webb, or Philip Barker Webb. They first catalogued me in 1898.
