#348 They called me Cephalaria transsylvanica, also known as Cephalaria allionii, and Scabiosa hacquetii. I pay homage to the male botanists Allion (I couldn’t find his records), and Belsazar Hacquet. They first catalogued me in 1814.

Native to Albania, Bulgaria, East Aegean Is., France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kriti, Krym, North Caucasus, Romania, Sicilia, South European Russi, Transcaucasus, Turkey, Turkey-in-Europe, Ukraine, and Yugoslavia.
