#734 They called me Floscopa scandens, also known as Commelina hamiltonii, Floscopa hamiltonii, Commelina schoubertii, Commelina hispida var. gaudichaudii, and Dithyrocarpus rothii. I pay homage to the male botanists Schoubert (I couldn’t find his records), Gaudichaud (I couldn’t find his records), Georg Roth, and William Hamilton, Arthur Andrew Hamilton, Alexander Greenlaw Hamilton, or Arthur Hamilton. They first catalogued me in 1790.
