#861 They called me Marcgravia rectiflora, also known as Marcgravia rectiflora var. jacquinii. I pay homage to the male botanist Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin, or Joseph Franz von Jacquin. They first catalogued me in 1862.
#860 They called me Corchorus orinocensis, also known as Corchorus argutus var. blanchetii, and Corchorus argutus var. benthamii. I pay homage to the male botanists Blanchet (I couldn’t find his records), and George Bentham. They first catalogued me in 1823.
