#289 They called me Pinanga coronata, also known as Pinanga kuhlii, Seaforthia kuhlii, and Ptychosperma kuhlii. I pay homage to the male botanist Heinrich Kuhl. They first catalogued me in 1839.

Native to Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., and Sumatera.

I pay homage to the male botanists William Roxburgh, Fernandez (I couldn’t find his records), Thwaites (I couldn’t find his records), and Brass (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1911.
