#672 They called me Neyraudia reynaudiana, also known as Neyraudia mezii, and Thysanolaena mezii. I pay homage to the male botanist Carl Christian Mez. They first catalogued me in 1934.

Native to Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, Hainan, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicobar Is., Sulawesi, Taiwan, Thailand, Tibet, Vietnam, and West Himalaya.

#670 They called me Allium thunbergii, also known as Allium opizii. I pay homage to the male botanists Carl Peter Thunberg, and Opiz (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1827.

Native to China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Inner Mongolia, Japan, Korea, Manchuria, Nansei-shoto, Ogasawara-shoto, and Taiwan.
