I pay homage to the male botanists Olof Swartz, Schlechtendahl (I couldn’t find his records), and Charles Leo Hitchcock, Edward Hitchcock, or Albert Spear Hitchcock. They first catalogued me in 1861.

They first catalogued me in 1823.
