#71 They called me Eragrostis brownii, also known as Megastachya brownii, Eragrostis benthamii, and Poa brownii. I pay homage to the male botanists George Bentham, and Robert Brown, Clair Alan Brown, Nicholas Edward Brown, Addison Brown, Andrew Phillip Brown, or William Brown. They first catalogued me in 1834.
#69 They called me Iris collettii, also known as Junopsis collettii, and Iris duclouxii. I pay homage to the male botanists Henry Collett, and Ducloux (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1903.
