#944 They called me Callisia repens, also known as Callisia repens var. mandonii, Callisia hexandra var. salzmannii, and Callisia hexandra var. mandonii. I pay homage to the male botanists Gilbert (Gustav) Mandon, and Salzmann (I couldn’t find his records). They first catalogued me in 1762.
#942 They called me Luffa acutangula, also known as Luffa forskalii, and Luffa kleinii. I pay homage to the male botanists Forskal (I couldn’t find his records), and Jacob Theodor Klein. They first catalogued me in 1832.
