#510 They called me Cyathea pungens, also known as Cyathea eatonii, Cyathea gleasonii, Trichipteris eatonii, Trichipteris gleasonii, Alsophila eatonii, and Alsophila gleasonii. I pay homage to the male botanists Henry Allan Gleason, and Amos Eaton, Hezekiah Hulbert Eaton, or Alvah Augustus Eaton. They first catalogued me in 1929.
