I pay homage to the male botanists Duss (I couldn’t find his records), Donnell-smith (I couldn’t find his records), Funck (I couldn’t find his records), and Henry Halcro Johnston, Henry “Harry” Hamilton Johnston, Ivan Murray Johnston, or Marshall Conring Johnston. They first catalogued me in 1797.
