#120 They called me Laportea ruderalis, also known as Laportea schomburgkii. I pay homage to the male botanist Moritz Richard Schomburgk. They first catalogued me in 1965.

Native to Bismarck Archipelago, Caroline Is., Christmas I., Cook Is., Gilbert Is., Lesser Sunda Is., Line Is., Maluku, Nauru, New Guinea, Philippines, Phoenix Is., Society Is., Solomon Is., Sulawesi, and Tokelau-Manihiki.

I pay homage to the male botanists Archbold (I couldn’t find his records), Leys (I couldn’t find his records), and Joseph Banks, or Harlan Parker Banks. They first catalogued me in 2018.

Native to Borneo, Jawa, Malaya, Maluku, Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, and Thailand.

I pay homage to the male botanists Vukotinocic (I couldn’t find his records), Borz (I couldn’t find his records), Tommasin (I couldn’t find his records), Secondat (I couldn’t find his records), and Joseph Pitton de Tournefort. They first catalogued me in 1796.
