#950 They called me Lotus cytisoides, also known as Lotus allionii, and Lotus cuatrecasasii. I pay homage to the male botanists Allion (I couldn’t find his records), and José Cuatrecasas. They first catalogued me in 1753.

Native to Argentina Northeast, Bolivia, Brazil North, Brazil South, Brazil Southeast, Brazil West-Central, Caroline Is., China Southeast, Congo, Fiji, Madagascar, Marianas, Marquesas, Mexico Gulf, Mexico Southeast, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Réunion, Tubuai Is., Uruguay, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Wallis-Futuna Is., and Zaïre.
