#894 They called me Poa arctica, also known as Poa williamsii, Poa eyerdamii, Poa charkeviczii, and Poa arctica subsp. williamsii. I pay homage to the male botanists Eyerdam (I couldn’t find his records), Charkevicz (I couldn’t find his records), and Benjamin Samuel Williams, Ion James Muirhead Williams, Mark L. Williams, or Samuel Williams. They first catalogued me in 1823.

Native to Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.

Native to China Southeast, Hainan, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., and Vietnam.
