I pay homage to the male botanists Blain (I couldn’t find his records), and Sebastiàn Alfredo de Morales, or Angel Amor Morales. They first catalogued me in 1905.

#689 They called me Astraea lobata, also known as Astraea seemannii, Croton courtetii, and Croton lobatus var. seemannii. I pay homage to the male botanists Courtet (I couldn’t find his records), and Berthold Carl Seemann, or Wilhelm Eduard Gottfried Seemann. They first catalogued me in 1841.
